Four Bear Mural

Members of the Monrovia Historic Preservation Group played a key role in rescuing the Four Bear Mural from the basement of the post office (where it was stored for over 40 years) and having it restored and put in the public view for all to enjoy.   The entire process took six years, from the discovery of the mural's existence in 2003 until it was mounted in the newly constructed Monrovia Library in 2009.
